utility planning at the Vermont Department of Public Service. Dr. Steinhurst

| Chris James | Senior Associate, has focused on energy and the environment
since 1978. Prior to joining Synapse, Chris served at the Connecticut Department
of Environmental Protection (DEP) as manager of climate change and energy
programs and as director of the DEP. He has also worked as a senior engineer
at the U.S. EPA and as principal engineer at the Rhode Island Department
of Environmental Management. Chris holds a BS in mechanical engineering
from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an AM in environmental studies
