Nicole Hughes
Nicole Hughes is a Research Associate with Synapse Energy Economics. She provides research and assists in writing testimony and reports on a wide range of issues from the economic impacts of carbon policy to integrated resource planning.
Prior to joining Synapse, Ms. Hughes interned at an environmental consulting firm where she worked on environmental impact statements for new energy generation and pipeline projects and researched superfund remediation sites. She also interned for a non profit in Santiago, Chile, researching the impact of development and increased air pollution on the local environment.
Ms. Hughes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Earth and Planetary Science with a certificate in Spanish from Harvard University.
