Caitlin Odom joined Synapse in 2019 as a Research Associate where she researches markets and technologies for energy storage and microgrids, models complex data sets in GIS, and works to maintain an emissions reductions estimation tool. Prior to Synapse, she worked at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center where she focused on the ACES Program, energy storage safety projects, and electric vehicle marketing. Prior to her work in energy, she interned at the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus where she helped develop a database of all elected female candidates in the state of Massachusetts down to the school committee level.
Ms. Odom holds a BS in Economics and Political Science from Northeastern University. For her senior thesis, she modeled the relationship between Renewable Portfolio Standards and Renewable Energy Generation.
