Electric Transportation Support

Synapse provides ongoing assistance to the Maryland Office of People’s Counsel (OPC) on topics related to electrification of the transportation sector. This includes participation in the Public Conference 44 Electric Vehicle Workgroup, reviewing utility proposals for EV rate design and programs, and assisting in the development of comments for OPC. Synapse works on topic areas related to charger reliability standards, demand charge credits and rate design, role of utilities in electrification, program design, and cost-effectiveness.
