Synapse provided clients Natural Resources Defense Council and Western Resource Advocates with technical, policy, and comment drafting support in Public Utilities Commission of Nevada Docket No. 21-05002, titled “Investigation regarding long-term planning for natural gas utility service in Nevada.” Synapse addressed issues related to emissions, feasibility, risks, and costs to decarbonize different types of fossil gas end uses, processes and feedstocks economy-wide, and to decommission gas infrastructure.
