Hannah Gittleman

Hannah Gittleman joined Synapse in April 2024. As an Executive Assistant to the CEO, she offers support with administrative tasks, such as calendar management and preparation for meetings and presentations. Additionally, Hannah acts as a sounding board and organizing influence.

Before joining Synapse, Hannah spent more than 30 years as a teacher of design and woodworking, first at the college level, at UMass Dartmouth, Hampshire College, and Rhode Island School of Design, and later, at the elementary and middle school level at the Fayerweather Street School in Cambridge. No matter the student, Hannah encouraged innovative ideas, teaching problem solving and ideation, whether formally, or more subtly, as a feature of her teaching approach.  

Hannah received an AB, Magna Cum Laude, from Harvard University’s Visual and Environmental Studies department, and an MFA from UMass Dartmouth in Artisanry: Furniture Design.
