Performance Incentives for Energy Efficiency in Wisconsin

On behalf of Clean Wisconsin, Synapse provided expert witness testimony in Wisconsin Electric Power Company’s (WEPCO) electric rate case to support the development of an energy efficiency performance incentive mechanism (PIM) to increase investment in voluntary energy efficiency programs. 

Synapse utilized a recent energy efficiency potential study for Wisconsin to determine recommended incremental spending and energy savings targets for the WEPCO service territory and developed a PIM to encourage the utility to make the investment.
