Commercial and Industrial Customer Perspectives on Energy Efficiency

On behalf of the Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Advisory Council, Synapse conducted a survey of commercial and industrial electric and gas customers regarding their perspectives on the ratepayer-funded energy efficiency programs. The survey identified customer barriers to participation in the programs, as well as feedback on how well the programs meet customer needs. The report also included a summary of the economic outlook for Massachusetts, especially as it pertains to the commercial and industrial customers and their interest in energy efficiency programs. The report was used to help guide the energy efficiency savings targets for the subsequent three-year energy efficiency plan.
