Lawrence Berkeley National Lab
Project completed March 2013

As part of implementing the National Action Plan for Demand Response, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) have issued a new report, “A Framework for Evaluating the Cost-Effectiveness of Demand Response.”  This report was authored by Synapse Energy Economics, Inc. and the Regulatory Assistance Project. The findings of this report are based on the analysis and conclusions of the Demand Response (DR) Cost-Effectiveness Analysis Working Group, which included state officials, industry representatives, members of the National Action Plan Coalition, and experts from research organizations.
